On Saturday 1st July, nearly 200 young people graduated from the Sutton Trust’s Pathways to Law programme. This programme selects highly able 16-year-olds from less advantaged backgrounds and provides them with opportunities to access the legal profession, including the Bar.

Many of these students are now about to attend some of the finest universities in the country to study law. Henry Witcomb QC, Sarabjit Singh and Hannah Noyce from 1 Crown Office Row attended the graduation ceremonies to help the students celebrate.

They gave congratulatory speeches which encouraged the students to continue to excel and presented their graduation certificates to them. 1 Crown Office Row’s attendance at the ceremonies was part of its ongoing efforts, led by Sarabjit Singh, to promote access to the Bar for talented young people from backgrounds underrepresented in the profession.
