Sally Smith QC will be appearing on at the Brighton Festival on Sunday 29th May 2016 at the Dome Studio talking about her new book, Marshall Hall: A Law Unto Himself (foreword by Clive Anderson).

Edward Marshall Hall, the subject of Sally Smith’s first biography, was one of the most famous criminal lawyers of all time. Born in Brighton in 1858, the charismatic power of his oratory saved more people from the death penalty than any other known barrister.
