In a claim brought by a totally blind man against his employer, Lewisham and Southwark College, the tribunal concluded that the college had failed to take “obvious steps” to address the disability officer Michael Lambert’s needs. It had failed to give him access to key computer software, despite his repeated request over a number of years, and therefore had discriminated against him because of his disability.
Adam and Mr Lambert will be interviewed tonight (Tuesday 2 June) on Radio 4’s “In Touch” at 8.40pm.
