Adam Wagner represented the Claimant, Dennis Stacey, who brought a High Court clinical negligence claim against East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. Due to the negligence of staff at William Harvey Hospital in 2008, Mr Stacey has been left with a huge, irreparable hernia protruding from his abdomen causing significant permanent disability.
Negligence was admitted by the Trust in 2012 and a settlement for substantial damages reached after a five-day quantum trial in the High Court before His Honour Judge Reddihough, held in November 2014.
