Adam Wagner was recently interviewed by Joshua Rozenberg on BBC Radio 4’s Law in Action programme. He was debating, along with Nadine Dorries MP, a recent series of criminal prosecutions against social media users. The debate centred on the implications for freedom of speech as protected by Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The programme can be listened to here – the social media section is from 20 minutes in.

Adam edits 1 Crown Office Row’s UK Human Rights Blog and writes regularly for guardian.co.uk. Earlier this year, he was asked to give evidence to the Leveson Inquiry on the challenges posed by the development of social media and, in particular, legal blogging. His witness statement to the inquiry can be found here.
