David Balcombe QC and Sarah Lambert successfully represented a woman’s claim against a surgeon who allegedly failed to obtain informed consent during breast re-construction surgery. This left the woman who lost her breast to breast cancer with a “grossly uneven chest”. On the third day of the trial the surgeon agreed to a settlement on terms with which the Claimant was very pleased.
