On the weekend of 10 -11 September, nearly 30 intrepid kayakers took to the water in north Norfolk in an event organized by 1COR’s David Hart QC to raise money for a new website, Law and Your Environment.
This new site explains environmental law, a notoriously convoluted set of statutes and common law, in simple terms. It is firmly designed for non-lawyers, but lawyers will also find that they can learn a thing or two from it. So it was worth everyone getting wet, muddy and tired, albeit on a warm September evening, to try and keep the website up to date in a fast changing field.
The event, which covered a 6 mile course has so far raised over £1500, and donations can still be made here.
