Michael deals with a wide range of property disputes. He regularly acts in Landlord and Tenant matters including service charge disputes, enfranchisement and dilapidation claims. He regularly appears before the county court and First Tier Tribunal. Michael also has experience of prosecutions under the Landlord and Tenant Act before the criminal courts.

Michael regularly acts for landlords and tenants in residential possession proceedings and has experience of possession proceedings involving social housing and the impact of the Human Rights Act. He has particular specialism in dealing with cases of anti-social behaviour dealing with injunctions possession hearings and committal proceedings. Michael also regularly deals and has experience of succession cases for local authorities.

Michael regularly acts for parties in TOLATA proceedings.
