Emily Higlett joined Chambers as a family law pupil in September 2025.

Prior to pupillage, Emily worked as a paralegal at a specialist family law firm and supported vulnerable clients as a Qualified Generalist Adviser with Citizens Advice. Alongside this, Emily co-founded the Blog Writing Team at Save the Children UK, coordinating volunteers to produce monthly blogs on current campaigns.

Before undertaking the Bar Course, Emily worked as a Wedding & Events planner, coordinating high-profile weddings and brand activations.
