Charlotte Youdan is an experienced Family Lawyer as well as being appointed as a Family Recorder across the South East Circuit since October 2015. She was admitted to the Bar in July 2021, having previously practised as a solicitor since 2006.
As a Solicitor, Charlotte specialised in Children Law. Her practice consisted of mainly representing Guardians, children and young people across all Courts but also parents, grandparents and prospective adopters in Public and Private Children Act proceedings. She has been a Member of the Law Society Children Panel since 2010.
Children (Public Law)Charlotte has significant experience in all aspects of children’s proceedings. In particular, cases which involve allegations of abuse of children, non-accidental injury and sexual abuse.
Charlotte has experience in representing parents, grandparents, children, interveners and guardians, thus has a rounded understanding of the issues and concerns of all parties in private law proceedings. Charlotte also acts in cases that require a rule 16.4 guardian, involving permission to remove children from England and Wales, and where special guardianship orders are sought.
