We are delighted to welcome Sophia Hart, Sophia Pascoe, Olivia Price and Emily Higlett as full tenants from the 30th September. They join 1COR after successfully completing their pupillages with us.

Sophia Hart accepts instructions in general civil law matters. During pupillage, Sophia developed a busy civil practice across Chambers’ core areas, with instructions in small claims, fast track and multi-track cases, including applications and interlocutory hearings, as well as advisory and drafting work.

Sophia Pascoe, Olivia Price and Emily Higlett are accepting instructions in both private and public family law.

During pupillage Sophia was instructed across a range of family law children matters. These included public law hearings representing all parties, such as ICOs, DOLS hearings, and FDAC proceedings. In private law, she has been instructed in all types of hearing, including complicated matters involving 16.4 guardians. Sophia represented the pupil community as a Pupil Ambassador on Inner Temple’s Education and Training Committee and acted as a supervisor for the Brighton University Law Clinic.

During pupillage, Olivia appeared in court regularly, representing local authorities, parents and children through their guardians. She has represented parents in complex, multi-day fact-finding and final hearings, and has acted for both husbands and wives in financial remedy proceedings. Olivia acted as a supervisor to students at the University of Brighton Legal Clinic.

During pupillage, Emily appeared regularly in court across a broad range of family law matters, including private and public children proceedings, and domestic violence and injunctions. Emily represented both local authorities, parents, Children’s Guardians, and 16.4 Guardians at various stages of proceedings. Emily is also undertaking a case through Advocate as part of Advocate’s Pupil Pledge.
