Matthew Withers delivered a seminar entitled Clash of Civilisations – TOLATA: Where the Civil Procedure Rules and family lawyers collide to Bindmans LLP and Edwards Family Law, explaining the principles of law, procedure and tactical considerations needed when dealing with cases under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees 1996 in cases of cohabitating unmarried couples and the property they own. Members of the Civil, Financial Remedy and Family teams of chambers joined Matthew and the firms for drinks thereafter.
