On 14th June 2022, Matthew Withers and Natasha Isaac, both of 1 Crown Office Row, Brighton will speak to Family Law Partners and friends about ToLATA and Schedule One in practice. The seminar will cover the essential information counsel, and ultimately the Court, requires in these cases, the best way to present some of the more commonly encountered family structures when in court proceedings, including offers and cases where it is necessary to conjoin proceedings under Schedule One and ToLATA.
We will also take a brief look at a smorgasbord of recent case law on: occupation rent before sale of trust property, detriment in joint names cases following Hudson v Hathaway, Princess Haya of Dubai’s settlement, costs and enforcement in Schedule One cases and soft loans in FR proceedings.
The event starts with a welcome drink from 5.30pm with the seminar commencing at 6.00pm. This will be followed by nibbles and networking.
