Following a 5 day trial in July 2021, the Bristol Employment Tribunal unanimously dismissed claims for direct disability discrimination, harassment and victimisation.  Matthew Withers appeared on behalf of the Respondent, a conveyancing firm, and successfully resisted the allegations that decisions in relation to part-time working requests and ultimately dismissal were because of or related to the Claimant’s mothers disability, and a subsequent grievance raised as a result.

Matthew was instructed by Alex Jones of 365 Employment Law.

Matthew Withers regularly appears in the employment tribunals, county courts and High Court dealing with employment cases and related matters, including discrimination claims as well as restrictive covenant cases.
