On 28th May 2021 two former Army Cadet Force adult instructors in Bexhill were sentenced at Lewes Crown Court for sexual offences. The Cadet leaders groomed and sexually abused one 14 year old cadet as well as discussing their sexual desires towards other cadets past and present. The matters were reported when the cadet’s sister discovered the highly inappropriate messages. Both of the leaders were volunteers of a Senior rank in their 30s and 40s.
