Adam Smith (Call: 1987) heads the family team in Brighton and has been practising family law for over 30 years, specialising in both public and private law children’s matters. He is Co- Chair of the Sussex family Justice Board, and an active participant in developing Family Justice in Sussex.

Scott Storey (Call: 2015) has a busy practice focusing on Court of Protection proceedings, public law and human rights, police law and inquests and is ranked a “Rising Star” by the Legal 500. He regularly appears in the Court of Protection instructed by public bodies, litigation friends (including the Official Solicitor), family members and deputies.

Natasha Isaac (Call: 2017) accepts instructions at all stages of care proceedings from local authorities, parents, grandparents and Guardians as well in a range of private law applications. She has a particular interest in cases involving children with specialist healthcare needs and cases with religious elements.

Doctor Jamie Carter is a Consultant Community Paediatrician & Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer BSMS. Dr Carter is also the Designated Doctor for Safeguarding Children for Brighton and Hove & West Sussex & Designated Paediatrician for Child Deaths, Sussex.

Dr. Chris Danbury  a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine at University Hospital Southampton and Visiting Fellow in Health Law.
