Rebecca Upton, instructed by CPS, prosecuted a Brighton man who was the first person to be given a ‘booze Asbo’ after attacking a strip club toilet attendant who told him to stop urinating on the floor. The attendant was left with serious head injuries as the defendant had boxing training and a history of violent crimes. He was sentenced to over three years in jail, with a reduction for his guilty plea and given that he had arranged some compensation for the victim.
