Sophie Evans, instructed by Gurney Harden Solicitors, successfully defended a man accused of occasioning actual bodily harm to a 4 year old child.
The male was found not guilty by the jury after a five day trial at Lewes Crown Court sitting in Hove. The trial involved complex questions of the competence of the child to give evidence, the admissibility of the child’s ABE interview evidence and cross-examination of a medical expert.
