Ahead of the film’s official release, this new documentary focuses on the unique personal journey of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg and is directed by Betsy West and Julie Cohen, and co-produced by Storyville Films and CNN Films. A preview will be screened tonight at Duke’s at Komedia Picturehouse Cinema and followed by a panel discussion with industry experts, including 1COR’s Abha Pandya and pupil Natasha Isaac.

The event is hosted by Ruth Wainwright, an economist and feminist activist who previously specialised in competition law matters working at the Financial Conduct Authority. She is also setting up The Feminist Bookshop, a bookshop, cafe and community event space in Central Brighton. Joining her is Dr Charlotte Skeet, Lecturer-in-Law and Co-Director of the Sussex Centre for Human Rights Research and Kimberley Brayson, Lecturer in Law and Co-Director of Centre for Gender Studies, with Abha Pandya, Barrister at 1 Crown Office Row and Natasha Isaac, pupil at 1 Crown Office Row and trustee of JOFA (the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance).
