Clare Ciborowska and Kirsten Japp will be giving a talk to Worthing Law Society about recent court decisions in cases involving domestic abuse and how the courts are dealing with the distinction between domestic abuse and allegations of bad behaviour during a relationship. They will consider Practice Direction 12J and lessons to be learned from Serious Case Reviews and the Sturge and Glaser report and how this works in practice in applications under The Family Law Act 1996 and applications under S8 Children Act 1989.
