On the 30th November 2017, the President of the Family Division issued practice guidance on the use of standard orders in financial remedy practice. This follows on from recommendations made by the Financial Remedy Working Group in December 2014. The orders are not yet mandatory, but their use is encouraged. Obviously, orders may need to be varied to fit the circumstances of the particular case. You can expect to see further orders next year. Read more about their use here and the June 2018 updates here.
The most up-to-date standard financial and enforcement orders for financial remedy are available to download below and were last updated on 07 June 2018. We also have a link to the standard Family Law Act 1996 orders, which have been available for some time, to download them please click here.
