On the 30th November 2017, the President of the Family Division issued practice guidance on the use of standard orders in financial remedy practice. This follows on from recommendations made by the Financial Remedy Working Group in December 2014. The orders are not yet mandatory, but their use is encouraged. Obviously, orders may need to be varied to fit the circumstances of the particular case. You can expect to see further orders next year. Read more about their use here.
