Six local Sussex law firms donned their beach volleyball kits on Friday evening (8 July) and braced the blustery but dry weather, for a chance to win Crown Office Row Barristers Chambers Charity Volleyball Competition and £875 for their nominated Charity.

Each team played each other once in a competitive league with the top 2 teams contesting the cup and charitable donation. The final standings in the league were as follows:

The final was an enthralling spectacle with Stephen Rimmer LLP scoring 21 points to Thomas Eggars 10 points, lifting the Challenge Cup Trophy and taking the £875 pot for Demelza Childrens Hospice. (For further information about Demelza’s click here.)
