1COR Netball the Results

14 August 2017

Girls vs Boys #CORNetball took place on 11 August, in aid of the Oliver Fisher Trust

It was a great success, with a great turnout from clients, whilst several members and staff from COR took part.

Andrew Pack (Instructing Solicitor at Brighton & Hove City Council) is an award winning legal blogger, who blogs regularly at Suespiciousminds, (and has just published a book), captained the boys' team.

Andrew was joined on the opposing side by, Rachel Gimson from East Sussex County Council, and Emma Taylor from GoodLaw Solicitors, in being the other chambers clients who played in the match.

A fantastic night was had by all, with thanks to Eleanor Battie and Stuart Taylor for getting everyone involved. Members that also played in the match were; Clare Ciborowska, Michael Walker, Kate Richmond, Charlotte Morrish, Jacqui Roach(and her daughter Abi) Adam Smith, Daniel Miller, David Lewis-Hall, and Raff (COR Clerk).

The girls won the game, but the Charity were also winners, with lots of money being raised (around £400)

There were a few netball skirts on display, not just worn by the girls' team, and social media has been ablaze with the Charity, participants and spectators tweeting about the game.
