QC: 1993 terence.coghlan@1cor.com Profile Terence Coghlan has over 15 years of experience as a Queen's Counsel in legal problems arising out of medical matters in general – but with a particular focus on clinical negligence, where he has been appearing for health authorities, trusts, medical practitioners, and medical defence organisations – as well as claimants - for many years. He has appeared in seminal cases in the House of Lords and Court of Appeal (including Bolitho v City Health Authority), and represented all the health authorities of England and Wales who were sued in the Myodil multi-party litigation. He is an accredited mediator; a member of the Court of Appeal panel of mediators since 1997 and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
