Jeremy Cave was called to the Bar in 1992 and has practised in Sussex since 1993. He has considerable experience of a wide range of common law work in particular in general civil litigation, property, personal injury, serious crime, licensing and family law.

His work at present is mainly, but by no means exclusively, based in private law family disputes. He is regularly instructed in cases concerning the financial consequences of relationship breakdown with both married and unmarried couples. He also deals with complex private law children disputes and has particular experience in issues involving international relocation. He continues to practise in criminal work, in particular in animal cruelty and in civil litigation.

He is a member of the Family Law Bar Association the Criminal Bar Association and Liberty.
Outside of work his interests include cricket, craft brewing, cycling and gardening.
