hala.mustafa@1cor.com Profile Hala’s practice is centred in family law with an emphasis on public law proceedings. Within that context, she has a breadth of experience representing local authorities as well as parents, grandparents and children at various hearings and across tribunals. She has represented local authorities and parents in complex care proceedings involving non-accidental injury. Hala also accepts instructions on a range of private law matters, having particular experience at working effectively with a multi-cultural client base. Her private law experience includes applications for the removal of children to non-Hague Convention countries, matters of honour-based violence and representing estranged grandparents. Hala is a robust yet sensitive and patient advocate always focussed on achieving the best outcome for her client. She is a member of the Family Law Bar Association, In her spare time, Hala’s interests include creative writing, independent film, theatre and travel.
