Clodagh also undertakes work in the Court of Protection, dealing with matters relating to capacity, treatment decisions and the best interests of protected persons Clodagh has dealt with a broad range of disciplinary cases predominantly in the General Medical Council (GMC), now Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, and also cases brought by the General Dental Council (GDC) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), ranging from those relating to the practitioner’s health (physical and mental), and cases involving concerns about alcohol and opiate misuse, including self-prescription, criminal offences, allegations of dishonesty, and performance issues.
